He's got a Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens on the thing, but I've not been overly impressed with some of the pictures I've taken so far. What would be the best scenario to use this lens in. Argote Posted September 23, 2010 Share Posted September 23, 2010 For portraits I'd suggest extending the zoom to 135mm and using a wide aperture to blur the background (make sure the background is not that close to the subject). yeoo_andy_ni Posted September 24, 2010 Author Share Posted September 24, 2010 I'd like to take a few pictures at home, against a nice backdrop of the wallpaper we have that's quite nice. I'd also like to be able to get some nice candid/action shots of my family and friends at the beach or something like that.
