RossDundas Veteran Posted July 27, 2003 Veteran Share Posted July 27, 2003  Nemisis was ok.....the movies have went down hill since first contact though and i'm disapointed there not going to do a DS9 movie.
danbalsh
Good News!!! Nemesis just need's a sequel :) Ross, what would they do a DS9 movie about, they all got split up and sent on separate assignments.
AshMan
Do you think they will have the Voyager cast in the next movie?
Duo Maxwell
Am I the only one confused by Brent's line that "DATA will be back again", becuase he was blown up.
Scorbing
Am I the only one confused by Brent's line that "DATA will be back again", becuase he was blown up. He transfered all his knowledge and programming to B4 so in a sense, B4 is Data. Just like Spock did with McCoy in Trek 3. When the new Spock was born, McCoy gave Spock his wonders back. LOC Veteran Posted July 27, 2003 Veteran Share Posted July 27, 2003 Note how supposedly said they were going to "mix things up" well when he mentioned Enterprise in there I knew this was bologna. Firstly, they wouldn't include anyone from Enterprise in a new Trek movie until Enterprise's run was over (usually 7 years now, but with the crap Ent has been putting out, maybe this year) Secondly Spiner made it completely clear that he and Stewart had no intentions of doing another Trek movie anytime soon. Stewart has said time and again now that he's finished with Trek. So unless someone can prove without a shadow of a doubt that that is really Spiner talking, it's a fake to me. userguy
Nemesis was supposed to be our maiden voyage, I do not believe this was really Brent Spiner speaking. I believe it is made up, not only because including Enterprise cast members in a movie with Data wouldn't make sense chronologically, but because "maiden voyage" refers to the first voyage, not the last, as the context represents. dougkinzinger
Fake. Just like a few months ago they said Jonathan Frakes was on some radio station in Europe. That was a fake too, confirmed.
altezza Veteran Posted July 27, 2003 Veteran Share Posted July 27, 2003 Nemesis was not great I think. If there is another sequel to that, I think Mr Berman should not producing this movie...he spelt disaster to Star Trek movies.

Viserov
I'm glad Berman didn't put his dirty hands all over Deep Space Nine. It made the series that much better without him, because none of the others had the acting, action, and character quality that DS9 had, not even TNG, in my opinion. If they make another movie -- if is the key word -- I would like to see a crossover from DS9 and Voyager with a little TNG thrown in. Enterprise just isn't movie material yet. By the way, if anyone wants 10% off the Deep Space Nine Season 4 DVD set, use this link: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect...l/2WNTES2BWF7QA It will only work for the first person to use it, though. mlerner
TNG - best series ever Nemesis - really good movie, don't know why you people slam it Enterprise - worst series ever DS9 - it was an ok show, bit boring in most episodes though
Gary_Player
I thought Nemisis was pretty lame...You would think that they would have tried a little harder after how bad insurection sucked Any cross-over movie they did would have to be a bloody epic though...specially if theyre throwing NG, DS9, and Voyager all in the mix...if they put in Enterprize too :s that'd just be a little too gay...It'd have to be like 4 hours long :s Why is everything revolving around Data? I mean he's been the star of the last 3 freakin movies :s I read somewhere that some of the other cast members were upset cuz they kept getting shafted
tronmaster
Data is dead and Nemesis sucked. I probably only watch it on video, maybe 2 years after the movie comes out at the theaters. That's what I did for Insurrection. Star Trek is dead. Let it die and resurrect it about 15 years from now.
spacey
nemesis was alright. i still like the movies and tng episodes with the borg. intense. :)
dougkinzinger
Thanks to Berman the Star Trek franchise is going down the drain. Exactly. Way to screw up, Rick. You dropped the largest ball the media has ever seen.
Joel
The very fact that Spiner CAN say there will be another movie makes me think there won't be one. Usually plot details are a well kept secret with Trek. PS Nemesis sucked, they tried to do too much and none of it was good.
hoyablue
I agree, someone should beat up Berman, now all I can watch are my first 6 treck movies:/. Well, Generations was quite decent. I remember Picard's line "Since he can't get to the ribbon, he's going to make the ribbon come to him!" in that harsh British accent.
