-=SD=-
Looks like this won't sell either lol... Maybe I just need to set it a .01 and just see what happens :(
Malechai Veteran Posted August 1, 2003 Veteran Share Posted August 1, 2003 instead of doing it the way you're doing, why not start the auction at $1, but create a reserve price for 300 and 200 respectively? that way if you dont get what you want, you dont need to sell. you might have better luck than just placing it up there at a huge starting bid
-=SD=-
Well when I first made the bid, I didn't see the option for reserve price, maybe i read too fast. That is what I am going to do, sadly for the 3rd time I have to relist these to sell em. What I really need, according to a friend was some pictures, though I don't have a digital camera so now I need to buy a cheap camera and get a picture cd. And to think selling my n64 and a guitar was a lot easier lol
Malechai Veteran Posted August 1, 2003 Veteran Share Posted August 1, 2003 pictures help TONS. for example, here at work we have an ad page if you want to sell stuff. i tried for 2 weeks to sell 2 tv stands i had. absolutely no response. i put pics up and i got a reply within 2 hours and sold them both the same day :o so yea it could be worth it
cyclingplatypus
I agree with Spyder. Don't worry to much about it selling when you first list it. I have yet to list anything on eBay and not have it do better than I wanted/needed it to do by the auction end. And I've sold quite a bit on eBay. -=SD=-
Well thanks again for the tips, Spyder is on a roll for me ;) Well I got like a day and half left on this, so I will just let this run out, maybe some buyer will buy at the last minute. If not then I am going to add some pics of it in the next listing. -off topic- Is the site real slow for you guys as well? Seems to take forever for a page to load here for me. :(
-=SD=-
Oh and if you guys want to bid be sure too hehe, I will ship to canada if needed :D
Cowpie
Shouldnt it be against the rules to post your personal eBay auctions? I mean I dont have a problem with it, but after myie2_user does it, JoeBlow who joined yesterday might think its all right, and so on and so forth...there should be other means of advertising your auctions... thexxend
Spyder is right on... the more info and visuals you can give to a potential buyer the better.... anyone can slap up a pic stolen off a retail website... but buyers want to see "what" they are buying... not some pic in a catalog.... -=SD=-
Yeah, sorry about the posts about the ebay actions, this is actually an older one... I put it in the Console Gamer area so that it actually fits to the right gaming section. I mean, if this is against the rules I won't put another up, just didn't think that was an issue. Also about the pics, yeah, I haven't really had time to go buy some film and take pic's (I know I should) but I sold my ps2 and from the feedback he left I hope people will take that into consideration. ;) [off-topic: My monitor is going pink on me! :pinch: , cant wait til I order my new one]
