Gran Turismo 5 Delayed

Recommended Posts

We can confirm that Gran Turismo 5 will not be available this November 2nd, but the game's release will be coming this holiday season.

We sincerely apologize to GT fans for the delay, however, creator Kazunori Yamauchi and the team at Polyphony Digital want to make certain they are creating the perfect racing experience, and we are confident that this ambitious game will exceed expectations when it launches.

We'll have more information for you in the near future.

Oh ffs just release it already.

I LOVE that acronym. For some reason it puts a smile on face. I think I just like the word ****. But I agree.

They better get it out before I sell my PS3. The only thing holding me back is the blu-ray player and we are due for a new TV soon.

What they mean is they just want to delay it so it's nearer Christmas.

i don't think that matters, everyone still has to deal with the call of duty factor. honestly marketing wise and trying to sell copies wise i think releasing before call of duty would have been the smartest move.

Why, so that retailers will run out of stock and they won't be able to sell as many units as they could have if they released it on schedule (well, schedule is a bit of a stretch).

No need to go off the deep end AB, that is a bit extreme, don't you think? :)

I can't wait any longer, I'm terminally ill and only have till December to live.

I dunno, it makes sense if you think about it.

Maybe they just want GT5 to get all the press attention, and the most sales that they can..and during the month of November theres a ton of **** being released: CoD, MoH, possible BC2: Vietnam...Windows Phone 7 =/
