Stupid IIS 6.0 Question

Question

Transferred an IIS ASP based site from one server to another.

I kept the same paths

Installed and Enabled ASP and NetFramework.

IIS is running, World wide Webpublishing is running but when I try to browse to the site locally via http://127.0.0.1 or http://localhost

It says page under construction.

If I browse from outside IP

It works!

This is the default web page for this server.

The web server software is running but no content has been added, yet.

Im sure I just dont have something setup in the direction, or maybe a redirect so it doesnt hit the default site.

Any clues

TIA

You can't browse it locally then, lol. Locally requires it to be accessible via your network.

If you really want to access via http://localhost/ then you will need to edit your HOSTS file to point localhost.dom to your co-located server's IP address. You can 'fake' any domain with HOSTS that way.

Any help out there?

If you know IIS, Id be willing to sling 10 bucks for you to do a share remote session and google talk conversation to help me out. An experienced person would be very helpful and could make a quick 10 bucks via paypal.
