.wmv --> .mpg

Recommended Posts

i've been makin' VCD's lately from .wmv files, and there is an audio delay. i assume it's becuase .wmv's have to buffer, and the mpeg-2 encoding software packaged with older versions of nero just can't "hang" if you will. does anyone know a solution to this problem ?

I use Windows Movie Maker (LAME - I know) to make quick slideshows of parents photos, with some little video clips.

This outputs as WMV. Then I useTmpeg (or whatever) to convert to MPG, so they burn fine onto VCD with Nero

Hope that helps. I think your problem lies with whatever convertor convers your WMV to MPEG
