Incorrect...it's AWD, not 4WD. ;)

And the Ferrari Enzo has better Slalom speeds than the Evo. :)

OOOooooo... how many wheels does it have? :p ;)

A stock Evo would be left at the line, without doubt. I seriously doubt that it has the torque it needs to come off the line fast enough.

Don't forget that drivers make a huge difference. That Norris Evo, drivers being equal, would give that Enzo a run for its money.

I wouldn't want either of them... except to sell to someone. ;) I doubt I'd even fit in that Ferrari.

Here's a good article explaining it :D

http://www.edmunds.com/ownership/techcente...advice.tech.5.*

And drivers do make a huge difference. But I still doubt the Evo would have the torque off the line to take a ferrari. It's a turbo charged car..so it's weak off the line. And by the time the turbo spools, the ferrari is gone. However, with the modded evo..things would be different. The one that was linked seems to have a good amount of anti-lag devices, so it probably does much better off-the-line than the stock Evo.

And I also don't think I'd want either car...aside from selling them for the $$$$. I'll stick with my american V8s

In last month's Sport Compact Car, they showed everything about the cars of 2 fast 2 fuious. In this month's edition, on newsstands, they pinned a Evo against a Porsche 911 and the Evo won.... For more info checkout www.sportcompactcarweb.com or somthing like that.... google it...

Yeah arround. If u want them modded cuz in the movie, they aint really modded. Only fake sh!t..

True, but if you're doing the mods yourself there's no way it should cost you $100,000.

Ferrari Enzo

European Edition is priced at ~ 1.2 Million USD

North American Edition is priced at ~ 685,000 USD due to smaller engine

Check out www.roadandtrack.com for a bunch of brand new articles on the Enzo. It now has the record for the fastest production car ever, killing the Maclaren F1 in all tests. Off the line, it even beat a Kawasaki Ninja, but was raped after the first few yards.

Ferrari 575 Maranello M F1 is priced at ~ 500,000 USD

Ferrari 360 Modena is priced at ~ 250,000 USD

I have personally been in the Maranello and just this past weekend I chased a Modena around Toronto snapping pics and movie clips from my digital camera. Quite amazing actually.

And just a side note, any of the above Ferrari's would totally destroy any of the cars from 2F2F. No comparisson.

EVOs are ugly.

And if I'm not mistaken, isn't a modded 2G (prettier but slower than a 1G) Eclipse GSX AWD fastard than modded EVO?

All the cars from 2F2F were a waste, minus the Camaro. It looked bad, but seemed slow (as to what it should have been in a movie supposedly showcasing engine mods, not body kits).

Anyone seen the new Raging Bull? The Gallardo is awesome. I'd include some specs but I'm lazy and lacking in knowledge by equal measure.

The saleen s7 costs $375,000 (BASE PRICE).....no EVO even comes CLOSE to that in price

And what MCLAREN are you reffering to? There's lot of Mclarens out there. Heck..I own a Mclaren. :D

And mzhandir, I think they are wondering where he is going to get an EVO in the UK...not the US.

Why are you comparing exotic sports cars to rally cars? The Evo and Enzo are in different classes. That's just like saying a Land Rover Turbo (an SUV/offroader) versus a McLaren F1.

An Evolution would destroy an Enzo in a rally or track. Hell, it's already been tested in Japan already. Google for 'Evo Versus Ferrari'. Remember, because of the Evolution's active yaw control and rally-car features, it can corner, drift, and power slide way better than an Enzo. It is a car for any rally-wannabe's, or those who wish to own a real sports car, but can't afford it.

What the Enzo has is speed and moderate manuverability. You would never think of power sliding in an Enzo because you would damage the car's sensitive suspension. (Hehe, check out BBC's TopGear's article about the Enzo) In a drag or street race, the Enzo would destroy the Evolution, hands-down. Ferrari's Enzo is a VERY beautiful and very fast car, however it's too damn expensive for anyone [middle-class] to ever buy. I mean, it IS a car for rich people, and rich people alone.

Now, if I wanted to impress people, I'd buy the Enzo, if I had the cash. But if I want an adventure, I'd drive an Evo. (Well, I DO drive an Evo3, so...)

I'm not so sure about that. The track numbers for the Enzo, as far as slalom, skid pad, etc. are slightly better than the EVO has been tested at. And I know that most magazines that have tested the Enzo have not been able to push it to it's extreme limits...for fear of wrecking the car. :pinch: The only advantage the EVO would have is that it has a smaller body. I'm sure that a Ferrari would have no chance in a rally race though. No Ferrari owner I know would take it offroad  That's just insane

And we are comparing the two cars, because of a comment that was made on the first page of the thread. I know they are not in the same class. But I've also learned that at the track, you rarely race against anyone in the same class as you are. But you always have to hope that your car is in a better class than their car  I'm talking about drag racing though..that's the only kind of racing I do

Well, in a drag race, the Enzo would always win. I mean look at that ****ing engine! It's a FERRARI engine for Christ's sakes! Besides, Evolutions weren't made for drag racing.

Yeah, no one would EVER take a Ferrari offroad. Too expensive to convert, too expensive to maintain, too expensive to damage.

Ah well, if I was REALLY rich, I'd buy an Enzo. In the meantime, I'll enjoy my boring middle-class life with my Evo. :)
