carmatic
basically, i have this 3d program which would like to have 6 square pictures for a skybox, basically for 6 sides of a cube... ive seen pictures where people have taken 360 degree views , and all the way up and down as well, by spinning their camera on a tripod suppose that i set up my own camera on my tripod and took pictures in every direction, what program do i use to stitch the pictures together and create the 6 square pictures out of them? Argote
I don't think you need to stitch them together, what kind of image does your 3D app require? or is it 6 separate images?

Argote
Then why can't you just take 6 separate photos and input them to the 3D software individually?
carmatic
how am i supposed to line the pictures up? do you know some special technique with the tripod for shooting at perfect right angles, as well taking completely vertical shots, including down straight through the tripod itself?
