Recommended Posts

I was planning on buying a cobalt one today, but backed out for some concious reason, i have the money, but im 19, lol.

I can get it + Splinter Cell in a bundle offer for $169.99 CAD....

So who owns one and if u do, love or hate it?

There are so many old-school SNES games that totalyl rock, as well as new ones:

Something intrigued me about them, i dunno if its the old school titles they have, or the portability, etc.

Only ****ty thing is graphix are pure crap from the screenshots of seen.

Titles that intrigue me:

Rock N' Roll Racing

Mario Kart Super Circuit

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3

WarioWare Inc.: Mega MicroGame$

Crazy Taxi: Catch a Ride

Simpsons: Road Rage

Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising

THPS titles

Drome Racers

James Bond 007: Nightlife

Megaman titles

Mortal Kombat

Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow

Virtua Tennis

Metroid Fusion

Golden Sun - Lost Age

TBR:

Double Dragon

Mario and Luigi

Boffa, he shipps to US only..... right now Future Shop has a good combo if they have a location in Winnipeg, SP + Splinter Cell for $169.99,. whereas SP alone costs $149.99 and Splinter Cell is $49.99

From what ive gathered, Walmart is the cheapest to buy games, $1 - $5 cheaper. Also i saw the Top 10 GBA games all for $39.99 today when i was there (Future Shop)

The Uncle Clive 'Gameboy Player' GameCube peripheral.

Savings gamers cash the world over

Uncle Clive's money saving tip: No:33 GameBoy Advance Player

Far from rewarding patient GameBoy Advance owners with a lead which would them allow them to hook their handhelds up to a TV, Nintendo have seen fit to ask gamers to shell out for a new peripheral, the GameBoy Player, which fits under their GameCubes (provided of course, they already have one).

Always one to try and save his loyal readers a few quid, Uncle Clive has devised a cheaper method of achiveing basically the same thing... Uncle Clive's GameBoy Advance games player. (pictured above).

Simply place your old SNES (or purchase one for ?10 from e-bay) under your GameCube and enjoy the following benefits:

? Play Gameboy Advance games YEARS BEFORE THEY COME OUT FOR THE HAND-HELD.

? Over 2000 games already available (in your loft or ?3 each on e-bay)

? Use existing SNES controller with its USEABLE 'D-Pad.'

? Show a greedy entertainment giant that you aren't prepared to shell out four times for the same piece of hardware (SNES, GameBoy Advance, Gameboy Advance SP, GameBoy Player) ayer)

i have the cobalt SP and its great. I'd buy one again if I didn't already have one. game graphics are great considering the power they're fitting into such a small console.

Definitely get a GBA SP, I can't see how I ever played with the original GBA. I wanted a black one, but that was only in Japan so I got a Platinum.

Right now I have Super Mario Advance 2 & 3, Pokemon Sapphire, and Super Monkey Ball Jr.

Some games I plan on getting are:

Legend Of Zelda: Link To The Past

Super Ghouls N Ghosts

Super Mario Advance 1

Castlevania: Aria Of Sorrow

Street Fighter Alpha

Megaman & Bass

Sonic Advance 2

Wario Ware Inc: Mega Microgame$

oh and I hear Jet Grind Radio ($19.99) is awesome on the GBA

Just putting in my 2 cents. Definitely get a GBA SP!

I bought mine at Target for only $100 and then Pokemon Ruby for $40 and Mario Advance 2 for $40! I'm glad I didn't have to pay $149 for it.
