Scorbing
There is only one problem I see in the Star Trek franchise and the Enterprise TV series. It is called: Rick Berman.
AshMan
Oh boy, this is turning into that crappy follow up to Babylon 5. Finally when Enterprise was getting good they ruin it. I disagree with you guys, I think Rick Berman has been doing a great job. Let?s face it, TNG was a pile of poope in the early days but after Gene kicked the bucket, the show got a lot better. I agree that Enterprise has flaws but I think this new direction is probably not the best of ideas. Edited August 2, 2003 by AshMan

Vlad
Deep Space 9 was the last really good Star Trek. TNG was good as well. Voyager had a lot of initial potential, but was a let down later on. I think Enterprise's problem stems from the fact that it can't find a story line to lock on to. The Temporal Cold War had potential, but it just wasn't...getting anywhere. They didn't give enough information on WTF was going on and left too many questions unanswered. Some mystery is good, but all mystery really sucks ass. And how is DS9 a clone of Babylon 5? Both came out in 1993. Both had different strengths and weaknesses. Babylon 5, unfortunately, suffered from the "not enough information" syndrome that Enterprise suffers from - a deeper explanation of the people involved would really increase my interest in the series. Argonaut
After TNG everything started going downhill, as somebody mentioned it is only goodies against baddies, especially enterprise, too cocky, pedantic, and manichean. The best was exaclty the oposite, the wading in shades of grays, the moral dilemmas individuals get thrown into and have to resolve. My 2 cents.... Samoa
I didn't want to give it a chance either, but I did. Now it's OK. Try to not expect it to reach the level of the previous Series. It is not them. I find the time continuim interesting.
AshMan
Forget Enterprise. They've ruined the official site (www.startrek.com). So much is missing. You know the old saying...if it ain't broke....
HyakuMan
Man, you guys really complain a lot about Enterprise. I've been a fan of Star Trek for a long time, (all shows, except the original series) and I think Enterprise is good. Everyone always compares it to TNG or DS9, who cares. The same thing happened when DS9 was in its infancy and same with Voyager. You have to appreciate the character development and fun storylines of Enterprise. I personally love watching the farces that Trip always gets himself into, or how Malcolm has the secret infatuation with T'Pol. Like, honestly, give Enterprise a break. The first few seasons of every Star Trek show are always slow compared to the ladder seasons because they are focusing on character development and providing the viewer with solid background information. You people should just sit back, shut up, and watch an episode instead of boohoo-ing about how Archer iisn't nearly as influential or cool as Picard or Sisko. :|
