Centre the menu text, drop the text gradient, or at least work on it because it doesn't appear to have than shiney effect I assume you're working to. Is that your os's font smoothing? If not, use something a little lighter and try justifying some of the blocks of text. They would probably benefit with the kerning a bit wider and the text height is too squished in.

Try and keep your elements the same distance away from each other too, it will help the layout feel more balanced and cleaner.

for example, on the first image, the bottom two columns are squashed up to the top row, and their outer sides do not align with the top row either, also squishing them together in the middle.

These are obviously all small points, but it's the details that count :)

hey there,

these are my opinions, remember that this is all about taste, so at the end of the day, go with what YOU feel is best, but since you asked for some opinions, here are my 2cents.

I edited it in paint to better express what I'm trying to say.

1- The (presumably selected page) black button doesn't seem as big as the gray one, it seems a little thinner, makes it look a little weird.

2- The top text is square, the menu and the picture are round, looks inconsistent. Most importantly, they're not the same width, it looks a little tacky.

3- Same thing as 2 for the width.

4- The black BG color, doesn't seem to fit, feels lose.. Try maybe moving it more to the left, starting at the border.

5- Try and put a border or a line to separate the menu and the paler background. It seems a little unfinished.

Also, the colors for the menu seem a little out of the blue. I'd suggest re-using the black, pale gray and dark grey as background colors, and white as a font color, question of keeping the same color scheme.

Last thing would maybe make the top banner "Mapa Studio" a little thicker, so that the page frame can be over it, or simply bring the page frame a little lower. For the page frame to be exactly after it makes the border look a little weird.

Hope it helps.
