Java Image Display

Question

Hi There,

I have some images that I would like to display on a web page, but thier pixel count is huge - but in order to keep the quality, I don't want to shrink them down.

I was wondering if there was any Java/Ajax stuff out there that would allow me to load the fullsize image into a smaller window, for example 500 x 500px, and then be able to drag the image around in order to see other parts of it?

Hope that makes sence?

Thanks

Matt

Sorry, apoligies, I did mean Javascript.

Thanks for the link - nearly there, but I want to be able to move the image around inside a box, not zoom when over it, it that helps.

For example, the image is fullsize inside the box, and dragging the mouse, moves the image around.

Basically, I have some cable diagrams that I want to put on the web, but cause of thier size, I don't want to put them full size.

Cheers

Matt

Hey Guys,

That is fantastic! Just what I want.

Would anyone know how to overlay an image inside the moving image? I am thinking more like icons over specific parts.

Cheers

Matt
