According to Wikipedia, Office politics or workplace politics is "the use of one's individual or assigned power within an employing organization for the purpose of obtaining advantages beyond one's legitimate authority. Those advantages may include access to tangible assets, or intangible benefits such as status or pseudo-authority that influences the behaviour of others.

Everyone says that politics in their own workplace is the worst. What do you say?

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. I don't involve myself in it, but the drama is absolutely ridiculous. It's not as bad at work as it used to be (Thanks to the departure of a few people), but it's still there... My particular favorite is when the principle drivers of inter-office politics play stupid. lol
