Samsung Focus screen 'oddity'

Recommended Posts

I think the comments on youtube sum it up nicely. Use the phone in your hands and you most likely won't encounter this issue.

That's not the point is it? There is obviously an issue, whether or not, many would encounter it. Don't tell me I'm holding it the wrong way. I personally have no major gripes with it at the moment but I can see myself in some situations where i would use it with the phone flat down on a surface. Regardless, the point of the thread was to see if others could reproduce the problem.

Yep, they all do it. My Zune HD does it too, and quite a few other touch screen devices do it.

Slightly aggravating when you want to be lazy in bed and just have the phone lying on the blanket next to you :L

i took my battery out for a few seconds put it back in and powered it up while on a surface that it had trouble with and i couldn't replicate it again. a day has passed and it seems to work fine on any surface. anyone else wanna try and report back?

i have a samsung galaxy S ... my touchscreen goes spazzy too, but not when i put it on a soft surface...instead i get it when i plug in a cheap USB charger... i have to unplug the charger before i can even use the phone

but it doesnt matter anymore, ive got myself an original charger and almost forgot that the problem even existed until i saw your video...
