LittleNeutrino Veteran Posted December 15, 2010 Veteran Share Posted December 15, 2010 A Friend of mine has a T-Mobile MyTouch 3G with Android 1.6 installed on it, we did a check for system update on it, however it tells her there is not any further udpates, I could have sworn back in June 2.1 was released for it? beanboy89 Posted December 16, 2010 Share Posted December 16, 2010 I'm not sure about the 2.1 update for the MyTouch 3G, but a 2.2 update just rolled out back in November. Have you tried updating over a WiFi connection or just over data? When I got my G1 (which is basically the same hardware, sans keyboard as the MyTouch 3G) I had to leave the WiFi on overnight for the updater to detect anything while updating from 1.0 to 1.6. mistical Posted December 16, 2010 Share Posted December 16, 2010 T-Mobile actually just not long ago and still should be I believe, started rolling out the 2.2.1 Froyo update to the MyTouch 3G, here's one way to grab the update: http://www.intomobil...uch-3g-tmobile/ Just make sure you do the double checking before proceeding, i.e. making sure your about to update the correct phone as I'm sure it is.
