Dev Channel Update

The Dev channel has been updated to 10.0.612.1 for Mac, Windows and Linux

This release fixes several crashes as well as:

  • All
    • Updated V8 - 3.0.2.1
    • Updated WebKit - 534.15

    [*]Windows

    • Google Cloud Print sign-in interface is now out from behind a flag and can be found in Under the Hood (Issue 60092)

    [*]Mac

    • Various minor tweaks to tab overview mode (Issue 50307)
    • 25% less logspew when loading the PDF plugin
    • Sandbox the GPU process (Issue 48607)
    • Experimental popup blocker animation
    • Fix stuck hover state in bookmark button (Issue 27073)

    [*]Known Issues

    • There is no space between the Apps- and the Most Visited-Sector (Issue 67073)
    • The expanded Apps-Sector becomes unvisible after clicking on it (Issue 67075)

New addition to about:labs

Experimental location featuresEnables experimental extensions to the geolocation feature. Includes using operating system location APIs (where available), and sending additional local network configuration data to the Google location service to provide higher accuracy positioning.

i havent noticed any speed improvements in chrome 10. its about the same as chrome 8 and 9 for me.

Odd, Chrome 10 feels so much more snappier at loading sites for me. It's clearly noticeable.

Yes - it crashes for me -

when i click the x to close the browser its always says "chrome crashes restore now"

i find that going to the settings menu and clicking exit stops this

Does this Dev-channel version crash for anyone else after closing the browser?

I've had that a few times.

Yes - it crashes for me -

when i click the x to close the browser its always says "chrome crashes restore now"

i find that going to the settings menu and clicking exit stops this
