Guest Ryan
I like how X-2 is turning out. It's all girl based now and they have some cuties in there. :D But that's not the only reason. Yuna has an evil twin and different colored eyes. I wanted to add them all, but than I remembered poll can only have 10 choices and they were on other platforms with the same names. :p Damn, that should say "Best Final Fantasy Game Series". I don't suppose that could be fixed can it? I can't do it. Where's the almighty Radish when I need his thread title editting skills? :) Edited August 4, 2003 by Trunten
Elliott
Or maybe "What platform had the best FF?" That seems like a better title. I'd have to say SNES. Give me a classic FF anyday.

Guest Ryan
Thanks for the spoiler! oops :blushing: I didn't mean too, but you could've found that out on places like IGN and other topics around here. I've even seen people post pictures of Yuna and her evil twin but that's all I know, that she has one. I haven't even played this one or read anything about it yet. Guest Ryan
the graphics were amazing in VII. the FMV's just blew me away I agree. I'll never forget the first time I got into Final Fantasy 7, when I saw those "movies". :woot: All it took was just the begininning, that dance at that ball (I forget what it was) and that chase scene with that chic who had the gun, on the boat I think. Damn, I actually don't remember any more. :p Just that any time I saw them, I had to have my friends remind me that this was a Playstation, not something else. :D
Laughing-Man
I agree. :D You are talking about FFVIII. Final Fantasy 7 is the best Final Fantasy game hands down. Sephiroth is the greatest villain in any game. Everyone remembers what happened at the end of disk 1.....the greatest moment in video game history.
XavierHyde
SNES was the best platform for console-style RPGs, no doubts there. But the Final Fantasy series certainly picked up with the transfer to PSX and PC (FF7). Haven't played anything beyond FF9 so I can't say how the PS2 ones compare. Can't say I fancy these new consoles though, I'd rather have PC versions. On Playstation, even though it's not officially part of the Final Fantasy universe, Chrono Trigger did get included in the Final Fantasy Chronicles pack. Chrono Trigger is, IMHO, the best game ever by Square. No FF game will even compare. But then, I'm an oldschool gamer... :)

m2x-ADMlN
Listen up. VII was always the best and always will be, I was very disapoited in X because they changed like everything, IIX wasn't that bad, but VII is the best. I hop X2 or w/e the new one is wont be such a bust as the last game.

WigglesTheFish
ff3/6 is the best on snes/nes and ff7 is my fav overall... personally i did not like ff10 at all, nice graphics but that was about it in my opinion... the bad guy, the emotion, the story of ff7 just rocked and i have never forgotten it and i still own it...
