Kyfho
I have a Purchased version of Win XP Home Edition ( OEM ). The CD Key was lost.... I looked in the Registry under HKLMblah blah current version, the Key is not listed there. Microsoft wants $35 to help me get it back of the Activation But I know its in the Registry somewhere. Can someone please tell me where to Locate my CD Key in the Registry. Mucho Thx ;D

Kyfho
OMG.... n00b, that a legit question ROFL. Its already activated and If you read the post, I didnt ask for a Key... I asked where I can Find MY OWN key in the registry, Its not in the same place as Other Win OS's, so I need to Know where it is. I guess I'll just Hunt it down My self, I just figured I would try to save My self some time assuming some one else knows. Thx for taking the time to try to Fl4m3. Try reading a Post B4 replying ;D "....The n00bs are Flaming" Any one with an Intelligent answer who actually read the post please reply. Thx In advance. cyoung1616
That's a good one, I put in my key and did a search in the regeristy and it doesn't come up. Did a whole system search and still came up empty. Sorry this doesn't help but if it's stored I can't find it. Cody Young
