HTC Desire - How to phone "My contact card"

I have a stock HTC Desire on O2 UK, 2.2 Android and Sense. All default.

I have set it up to use my google account and facebook etc... all fine.

I have imported my contacts and edited my own "My contact card" (At the top of the list)

QUESTION :

How do I ring a number on my own contact card?

You know, my real contact card... I repeat, at the top of the list.

Why?... Let's say I want to ring my office, or my house, that's why.

Caveat : I don't really want to duplicate a contact for myself. I don't want to have to type a number to do it.

Is this possible? It does not show in the list (after clicking "Phone"). It also does not show in the default Mail app as a contact that I can select.

You can't ring your contact card. Just tried it. You need to create a separate entry for yourself.

Kind of annoying. I don't like duplicates and I like everything tidy. :yes:

You could edit your contact card and copy/paste the number into the phone dialler, but that might be annoying if you need to do it a lot.
