"wut up dawg?"

Recommended Posts

I found this very amusing. Someone who i don't know and have no idea who they are felt like IMing me just now.

troubledkid115: word

Me: um, hi

troubledkid115: wut up dawg

Me: who are you?

troubledkid115: nobody

Me: ok then, bye

troubledkid115: who be u dawg ?

Me: I'm sorry but my intellect is to far above your's to converse with you.

troubledkid115: wut eva dawg u know u stupe id

Me: Then I guess that is why I can form a sentence with real words and refrain from using the word "dawg"

troubledkid115: fuk u dawg

Me: What's the matter? Does the truth hurt? Do you need me to call your mommy to come and pick you up?

And he stopped talking after that... a shame really, i was having fun

I honestly wonder how old this person is. And whats with the obsession with "dawg" anyway?

That other guy was definitely stupider than you, but still I think you forgot a letter and had an extra apostrophe in there...

if you are gonna play the "i'm way smarter than you route" (which is a totally valid thing, i'm not saying it isnt) you should probably at least have good grammar. ;)

I really hope it was someone joking or kidding around, but sadly i doubt it

I had a couple idiots post like that on my message boards ... it's a shame, really, that people talk like that.

So, somehow you spewing your proper english drivel makes you intellectualy superior than someone who chooses to use an altered version of the dialect that they see fitting...? Oh my.. You're much more cultured! How dare that person try to have a conversation with you!

well, let's not get into a deep philosophical argument here...i think (hope) that we can all agree that the "dawg" guy was not necessarily the local academic prodigy.... ;)

"word" is so old school though and doggs should only be people whom you consider to be your "homies" not some one you are talking to on the internet.

When I am with my friends we talk back and forth to each other like this but then again I never talk to any of my friends on the internet. Except a email every know, but we never use ebonics in our typing.
