Is there a reason it can't be made compulsory to list at least one or two of the elements in a screenshot? I've pretty much stopped visiting this thread in the last few months because people list nothing about their desktop and there are tons of posts just asking for wallpapers or widgets etc. It would be a really useful resource if it were a monthly gallery with links to files, but it isn't.

My sentiments exactly. The OP even asks people to list stuff (every month I should add), but nobody pays attention. There are many good wallpapers in these treads but 9 times out of 10 Tineye doesn't have them in decent resolutions. In fact, I've never gotten that stupid site to get me a decent picture yet.

pretty much the same as the december 2010 desktop layout the differences and additions are:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (yes, i decided to upgrade from 32 to 64)

Fences (hidden)

Extended screen display (16 inch laptop (1368x768 native res) + 19 inch monitor (1280x1024 native res))

What remains the same:

Visual style: Clear glass 7 (link)

Rainmeter widgets (gnometer, drive white, hud vision white, vcloud weather v2)

wallpaper: remix clean (link)

Objectdock 2

Linux looking sexier each time I visit this thread. I'm really tempted to try it out again. Maybe when I get 8GB RAM for my laptop I can install XP and Photoshop CS5 on it and run it in virtualization. Stupid idea?
