Probably a dumb question, but do you absolutely need Silverlight 3 or 4 to run the Zune software on your PC? I'm curious and might try it out. Running Windows XP Media Center Edition. If I don't like it, does it uninstall easily?

I dont have silverlight installed and my Zune software still works!

No, Silverlight is not required to run the software. And yes, it does uninstall easily.
