Daniel F. Administrators Posted August 6, 2003 Administrators Share Posted August 6, 2003 INADEQUATE SECURITY means that Microsoft's Beta newsgroups are wide open to just about the whole world+dog, Neowin reports today. Microsoft uses an inadequate method of accessing its newsgroups which Neowin has uncovered, and in the newsgroups is all sorts of information including the official M4 build of Windows Longhorn Professional and much more, the web site says. Neowin says it has passed the information on to Microsoft, but unfortunately it's still slumber time in Vole Central. As well as Longhorn, there appears to be all sorts of information about Office 11, WM5 and goodness knows what else. You can find the story here. ? http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=10889

Samoa
thanks for posting that. It seem strange when I was looking for it at MSN. I had been there before. But looking for the group was a mess, so many Neowin news groups there...
