Hopefully this should help?

Basically, save as an EPS instead of JPG/PSD/etc.

...I only know Photoshop....

Apparently not very well if you have a program that is that expensive and do not know how to export to other file formats blink.gif

Photoshop allows you to save a file as an EPS file.. Go to 'save as' and look through the drop down menu... CS3, CS4 and CS5 for SURE allow this.

Either way, if you were designing for a t-shirt, you should be using Illustrator. Are you sure your work is using the correct DPI for printing?

The printer wants it in EPS because he/she wants a small but high resolution vector file.

You could use Photoshop (a raster editor) to do a Save as..EPS but it won't be very optimized.

To get the results that your printer wants, it would be best to use vector-based software to create it.

Since it's only text, why don't you download a trial of Adobe Illustrator, write the text, right click on all text layers --> create outlines, and then save file as EPS ?
