Fastest way to drain iPhone battery?

Recommended Posts

Just use it like normal. What? Not fast enough? :p

But yeah a combination of these might help:

  • Highest brightness with the brightest background you can find.
  • Making a phone call.
  • Be somewhere with really crappy signal, so it has to keep searching.
  • Have wi-fi on and actively being used.
  • have GPS on and actively being used.
  • Put it in a warm nook in your body (e.g. between your legs).
  • While it's there, also take some snaps.
  • All this while having music playing in the background.

playing games

internet use

listening to music

having wifi and bluetooth enabled also seem to wear the battery down since they are constantly looking for devices

listening to music? REALLY? not exactly the most demanding on any iDevice.

tom tom app actually uses the battery even when its plugged in... as in if you are charging the phone while the tom tom app is running your battery will actually still go down.

Give tomtom 45 minutes without being plugged in and you will have a dead iphone.

wouldn't it drain faster in the cold? e.g. walk outside doing the above (there are cold winters where I am live, eh.)

+1. I was driving from NC to TN and it died on me. I was disappointed because it was even plugged in.
