CyberKewl
I've been using XP for some time, and i just don't understand what's wrong with XP, Quicktime and java - quicktime and java tends to flicker the screen or taskbar. The problem is, i DID NOT apply any transparency whatsoever on my taskbar and this thing still happens. I have tried using customizer xp to apply it then "de-apply" the transparency but with no luck. There was at one time where my java programs didn't flicker at all, then later on it started having the same behavior again (flicker)...does any one have a solution to this? Ironguy
You're not using Cursor XP are you? I noticed a similar effect after loading Cursor XP - Java applets would flicker horribly. Also, make sure your refresh rate is set as high as your card/monitor will allow. This issue seems to stem from a conlflict with screen refresh rate and program priorities...??? Neil Banfield
Its a bug in the Sun JVM when a layered window is on screen (such as the cursorXP cursor or a semi trans window) It seems the Sun JVM is not fully Windows 2000 or XP compatible.
