Roger H. Veteran Posted August 10, 2003 Veteran Share Posted August 10, 2003 yeah, it's just stupid flooders. And now when you sign off (if they did it enough) you wont be able to get back on using that SN since it has so much OFFLINE messages that it wont start up and just crashes. The cure is to only allow people on your list to contact you or get Y! Tunnel (google it)
TooPackShaker
yahoo messenger is crap bascially. way behind msn or aim, but I still use it too.
bangbang023 Veteran Posted August 10, 2003 Veteran Share Posted August 10, 2003 crap? behind msn and aim? are you smoking something? seriously, way before AIM or MSN had any of the features, Yahoo had webcam, built in chat, animated smileys, message logging, tray notification, and more. Hypoxiaicon
crap? behind msn and aim? are you smoking something? seriously, way before AIM or MSN had any of the features, Yahoo had webcam, built in chat, animated smileys, message logging, tray notification, and more. I couldn't agree more :). Its simply a privacy thing. Just tick "Ignore anyone who is not on my friends list" Personally, i've never had that problem. Id choose Yahoo! Messenger over MSN 6.0 Any day :p

Hypoxiaicon
Well i do post the updates in the back page news.. but they don't get on the front page... so just pop into the Back page news forum. or just pop along to messenger.yahoo.com and click get it and it will tell you if you are installing the same version, if you are then cancell, if it doesnt prompt then there is a new version and it will download.
