Why isn't GoDaddy moving your cPanel account to your newly upgraded VDS?

That being said migrating WordPress is pretty easy. Log into your original GoDaddy cPanel account. Just download your /wp-content/ folder as this should be the only folder you've uploaded your plugins/themes/uploads into. Now log into PHPMyAdmin and navigate to the database you setup with WordPress. Go to Export > and then make sure ALL tables are selected and backup (and download) the SQL file.

Go ahead and log into your VDS and upload a fresh copy of Wordpress (http://wordpress.org/latest.zip) and then upload your copy of /wp-content/ overwriting anything from the fresh copy of WP. Now log into Plesk and recreate the same WordPress database and WordPress username OR if you want to change it, do so. Make sure to append any changes to your wp-config.php file!

Now go into PHPMyAdmin and go to the database you created for WordPress. Go to 'Import' and then select the SQL file you previously downloaded. Start importing your blog. Once you've done that, you should be good to go.

Don't forget to change your custom nameserver IP address if you're using any. And don't forget to remove all of your files from your previous GoDaddy account. Once you do that, cancel that plan/package so you aren't charged again for something you will no longer be utilizing.

Thanks for your answer but it is not that easy for me

Ok i understand what you mean i mean the steps but the panel is first of all Plesk.Second, what about the domain name.i mean do i have to create domain in the plesk first?

When i Google it,there are a lot of steps for doing it with plesk panel and confused

Well, if the domain itself is not created in Plesk, then simply add it to Plesk. It's literally as easy as it sounds.

The first part of my instructions requires you to log into cPanel--that's your original account that you outgrew. That SHOULD be cPanel as that's what GoDaddy's hosting uses (right?)

Again, why isn't GoDaddy doing any of this for you? Is this not offered with their service?

On Godaddy shared hosting there is no cpanel.

I already downloaded all the files and backup the database. This is the easiest part.

But believe me,there are so many people who don't know how to do it and there are so many people who hire someone to do it.

And also Godaddy is not migrating the blog. They say it is not a free service.I don't want to pay + $100 to godaddy to do it.

But again believe me some technical persons are having problem with this

Okay so they don't use cPanel--well replace that with Plesk or whatever control panel you have access to. Then follow my steps. It is VERY simple, contrary to what you've read.

If you still can't get it, I'll do it for you but there would be a fee involved so probably not in your interest. Either way, the above post will get you setup with it.

I would just back up the database, all your files, and transfer it over to your godaddy WP via FTP, except for a few things it should be fairly simple, I've done it before. I use GoDaddy myself. I honestly don't see why they don't have cpanel, their web hosting solution is fairly crappy and slow.
