Psy Posted August 30, 2003 Share Posted August 30, 2003 my wife wants to keep our cable.. im getting dsl soon for myself and children.. just wondering if i keep both cable and dsl, can i utilize both connections on one computer.. kinda split the bandwidth between both to double up dls and such? It would almost make no sense on one computers since the computer would almost always use the faster (cable) connection. Especially if it's XP. So. And no you can't split the load between 2 different ISPs. Back in the days you could purchase 2 56K modems and hook them up to the same ISP with 2 different accounts (ISP has to support this and set up the accounts for yah) and then you'd get the boost.
