EzeWong
I'm looking for some low key calm music to study too, Not anything too new age or spicy (taco taco) Something like soft drums and bass. Anyone have suggestions? I dont like classical only because i DO find it catchy and tend to follow along... anyone have any suggestions either? Like starbcuks type music? poind
Hmmm. Some jazz might actually do your trick. Miles Davis' "Kind of Blue" album can be a great starter if you don't have it already. Steady enough it shouldn't distract, too.
Mad Panda
Hows about Enya? Some of her music is good. Another would be Enigma, someof their music is soothing and calming.

altezza Veteran Posted August 31, 2003 Veteran Share Posted August 31, 2003 what about some classical music? :) Agreed. That's the best music you can listen while study. It will make you feel relaxed and you will memorize stuff easier and understanding study materials better (Y) I've done it before while studying for exam...it works for me ;)
FaRSightxc2
I like chilled out less-formal music, that kind of flows. My favourate album to study by is:- Underworld - "Second Toughest in the Infants". Also I bought 'Essential Drum and Bass 2' from HMV a month or so ago. It was six CD's for ?10.00, and is also great music to study by:yes:: On top of that, I would also like to reccomend 'The Super Furry Animals'. I love their music, particularly their album 'Rings Around the World':))

Jason the Eighty Eighth
two words - St. Germain. in my opinion, the BEST Electronic Jazz i have heard. words that describe it: "calm/peaceful, earthy, hypnotic, intimate, stylish, soothing, relaxing, modern" if you get it, the best song they made would probably be Sentimental Mood. try it, you'll love it. or... if you don't like Jazz, try classical music or soul music.
