How do I do this?

Question

Hey guys,

I'm designing a website for a friend and i'm a little stuck.

I've added a table and to the table properties put a background image. Now when I export into Firefox just to check what i'm doing theres a little

gap and the background of the cell goes across the whole page.

If you look at http://www.coffeecup.com/ I want to do the same thing. The header and footer images come across the whole screen from the left side of the browser window to the right without a break.

How do I do the same?

Thanks

Yeah i'd set the bodys margin to 0 and also get rid of cellspacing and padding.

To be honest learn how to do div layouts and use CSS, it will make life a lot easier and you won't have as many browser problems later down the line. Especially with a layout like coffeecup

Tables should only be used for tabular data.

I'm not trying to copy ideas, trying to do the same......any ideas?

I fail to see the difference. If you see a layout you like, find the source and go from there. I'm not saying you should steal graphics and designs, but simple layouts are mostly the same around the web.
