AaronXP
MS have included the 2 additions without announcing it. Download the PowerToys at http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/dow...s/powertoys.asp First, uninstall your old powertoys. Then start installation of the new Powertoys you just downloaded. Instead of selecting Complete, choose Custom and click on next. You will see that Shell Player and ISO Image Burner appears in the list. This was discussed at the MSFN forums in this thread

ILuvXP
Hi Guys! I downloaded the PowerToySetup.exe file via the NeoWin link. I then proceeded to uninstall my old PowerToys. I then proceeded to install the new PowerToys. Guess what? No Shell Audio Player, and no ISO Burner! :dead: They don't even show up under the Custom Setup! Please Help!!! I think Microsoft may have pulled the new version! The file sizes of the new and old PowerToys are identical. Thanks...
Prelapsarian
I just downloaded the new version this morning. All is good. Make sure that when you install the new one, you say "Yes" to when it asks you to replace the existing file...

Richie101
What is the size of the downloaded file? The one I downloaded is the same as the old version, and has no iso burner or shell player:O
babis
Richie101: Size: 0.97 MB (1,027,448 bytes) If you had previously installed ms toys, make sure to uninstall them. When you install the new ms toys it will tell you that there is a previous .msi powertoy (Click Yes Replace) Then install the new ones On the taskbar::::>right click::::>new tooldbars::::> audio player! Dazzla Veteran Posted January 6, 2002 Veteran Share Posted January 6, 2002 Originally posted by Eth3l anyone know why the shell player "skips" or stutters when playing MP3s? One Solution I've read is to make sure your MP3's only have ID3 V1 tags not V2, I haven't experienced Skipping in this version so i cant say but its got to be worth a try.
