Inertia
I dont trust either, I am at work (I work at an ISP) and I am on a 480 gigbits/sec backbone connection at the moment, Bandwidthplace reports that I am on a 2.3 megabits/sec connection, and cnet reports less than 2 megabits/sec. Maybe there are restirctions at the server side with lot sof people running tests
samg
a. you wont be getting that line, costs lots of money (kairon) b. this is my home connection.

kairon
Costs a lot of money?45.99 USD a month doesn't sound like much at all when I'm normally connected at 9mbit or so. Yes, its only mbit, but when you do the math thats a lot of bandwidth to play with.
DsnBehind
Battle of the Bandwidth Remember: A gigabyte a day keeps the bandwidth-limit-exceeded letter from the ISP away. Has anyone else noticed that the (topic emoticon) happy face is directly above the angered one?

If the connection is any faster then that, the test will give you the wrong speeds.
