Some shortcuts not woriking in Objectdock and Rocketdock

Question

Really weird problem here. For some reason, some app links won't launch from Objectdock or Rocketdock, yet others will. The only thing they have in common is that they're either Microsoft programs like Freecell or Snipping Tool, or programs that are used to modify Windows like Classic Shell Explorer and Start Menu Customizer.

At the same time, other MS programs like Media Player, and 3rd-party tweaking apps like Ultimate Windows Tweaker, work launch just fine with both docks.

This issue is only happening in the docks. The Start Menu and Explorer will load these programs normally. I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.

Like I said, weird. Any ideas?

Thanks :)

Try changing the permisions. Right click the exe>Properties>Security. Chose 'Users' in the 'Group or user names' section and click Edit.

Select 'Users' or the user you want to grant full control permisions and tick the 'Full control' checkbox under Allow. OK your way out and try to open the aplication using the dock shortcut.

Hope this helps.

EDIT: Also check the 'Run as Administrator' checkbox under the Compatibility tab.
