neoadorable Posted March 1, 2011 Share Posted March 1, 2011 nice and wishing them lots of success, they just did that six hour EVA. while i'm not a big fan of the space shuttle because i believe we should have gone on to bigger things, i acknowledge the contribution it's made and all the effort. i do believe it is time to move on and leave LEO operations to private industry. We should have retired the shuttle on time (early 90's) and done what we're preparing to do now: commercial orbital ops and let NASA be the pathfinder beyond Earth orbit - with plenty of commercial help (Bigelow modules etc.) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
