markass
Clearwater beach was @ 32 degrees with a wind chill of about 20 to 25 degrees. Last year @ the same time it was in the 60s. Everybody was using heat so that we would have the power go out every thirty minutes. Plus its more of a pain than most areas because of the sheer sizes of the houses. If you've ever seen pictures of Hulk Hogon's house than there ya go because I live about 2 blocks from his house which is right around Morton Plant Hospital for those of you who have seen this area. So when you have roughly 50 houses with at least 3000 sq. feet a piece switch from A/C to heat Florida Power just can't seem to keep the power on with any luck. For those of you who live in Cali I have no reason to complain and just for the record I feel sorry for you because it annoys me to have the power go out once a day where I have to reboot the computer and I can't imagine what you must feel like. Enough said...sorry this is a little off subject...ok alot off subject from windows xp but I just thought that this is my one to two days to complain about the wheather in Florida. markass
Hows the wheather in Denver. Ha ha ha. I bet you have more rage to let out than me. The worse is yet to come...except in Florida (ha ha). I grew up in Boston and let me tell ya I went to shool every day the first semester and the second semester (winter) I must of missed at least half the semester if not more. Oh by the way just in case you picked up on this one Boston or at least where I lived their semester system is different compared to most parts of the country. The first semester started in May wheras the second semester started in mid October. As I say "What a wonderful world"...Louis Armstrong. But on the other hand we went year round so our christmas break was just a couple days shy of 4 weeks. Thanksgiving was about 2 3/4 weeks long. Messed up wasn't it. Go figure.
