Something I did last night

Recommended Posts

Alright so last night I was hanging out with my friend and some other people I didn't know at some place (I honestly don't remember the name). We had planned on going downtown and playing some pool and stuff, but we were waiting for people. It turned out we would actually never leave and just go home, but here's the geeky thing:

After sitting at the table for around an hour and a half or so, I decided I was tired of waiting to see if we were going to leave or not and decided to get something to eat. What I meant to say was, "Can I get some mozzarella sticks please?" but I actually said, "Can I get some Mozilla sticks...uh wait." :pinch:

Dang me for messing up that bad in front of a very good looking waitress.

she probably didnt even know what mozilla is anyways

Well if not her, then everyone else who looked at me did.

It's a bad thing to think about software when ordering cheese sticks.

i have heard someone say LOL in a real life conversation, i just looked at them and then they realized what they did and blushed.

Me too, only the person saying it looked at me like I was the weird one. I couldn't freaking believe it. It was a cute girl though, so I just dropped it. :)

It's not like you said "Can I have a GeForce FX 5900 Ultra with thermal compound and a Vulcan heatsink and a side order of 7200rpm Maxtor harddrive?"

One order of that, please!

Yeah I said "LOL" in real life before. That was one of my more humiliating moments... there was an awkward silence from the people I was with after I said it, then they all laughed hysterically  It made me realize that maybe I was spending a bit too much time online...(haha, yeah right. there's no such thing as 'too much' :shifty: )

Bah. I had a nice LAN party the other night. We're all 2nd year University/College students (Engineering, Comp Sci, Robotics, Graphic Design, English, Business) but instead of us heading out to the bar, we decided we were going to try something different. We went to a buddy's house and set up 7 computers and LANed all night. We also sold out an entire variety store of chocolate milk.

Honest...we aren't total losers...we actually all have girlfriends too. REAL ONES!

My friends and I used to say "ty" and "yw" and "brb" and "lol" in conversations as a joke and it kinda caught on as we all started using it regularly...
