Growled Member Posted October 29, 2012 Member Share Posted October 29, 2012 Yep, just seen it! Pretty good, well worth it! Different from the last two and some unexpected things! That sounds good. I like something different and not the same old thing all the time.

S00N3R FR3AK
So this movie was freaking awesome, looking forward to the future of the franchise. But man letting Voldemort run MI6 doesn't seem like a good plan. Mr.ed 1 Share
Brian Miller
Did anyone else notice when Silva took out his false teeth , how his face collapsed and looked very similar to Jaws from Mookraker ?
Growled Member Posted November 11, 2012 Member Share Posted November 11, 2012 I didn't like it at all. Brian Miller 1 Share
spenser.d
Saw it last night. Definitely a bit of a departure in some ways from other Bond movies, but at the same time still a Bond and overall pretty excellent.
thommcg
Quite good. A few nods towards prior escapades, though I'm not entirely sure why they kept pronouncing Julian Assange as Silva djdanster 1 Share
pes2013
Just saw it, did not like it at all. When you go to see a Bond film (the 23rd I might add) you expect some obvious things. They weren't there. For me a failure....Bring Pierce back.

Out of interest, have you seen Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace? If so then you would have realised that these films have taken a departure from the original Bond formula. It's been like this for a while now. djdanster and George P 2 Share
George P Global Moderator Posted February 2, 2013 Global Moderator Share Posted February 2, 2013 The numbers don't agree with you, this is the highest grossing Bond movie so far. I'd say lots of people liked it. Oh and gadgets are overrated.
TheLegendOfMart
Only because its more like Bourne and less like Bond. I watched it and while it was better than Quantum it was still a "meh" film. If it was a departure from the "bond formula" why are they prequels and why is the end of Skyfall pretty much the start of the old Bond.
George P Global Moderator Posted February 2, 2013 Global Moderator Share Posted February 2, 2013 The "bond formula" was something added more in the movies than in the original novels. This bond is closer to the original character than what we had before.

More realistic and less cheesy feeling to it.
