BGM
I dont know if any companies do this, or even if its possible, but im going off to uni where the phone provider (ntl:) blocks all 0800 numbers unless u request them to be unblocked, and then forces you to make use of there 1p/min service, so i am unable to use a standard free dialup. After being on boradband for the last 2.5 years this is not very appealing so i did think about making use of the ntl: ?10 a month service seeing as i am on ntl at home, but its only for residential use unfortunately...:pinch:: I will be ringing up ntl to clarify all of this, but in the mean time if i could get some recommendations on any isps that you pay a flat rate too, and then dial up to them using aNON 0800> number, i would be very much appreciative.. Thanks very much Chris

BGM
is 0800 the eqivalent of a 1-800 # or a 1-900 # in the us? 0800 is bascially free phone, all charges put through it are footed by the company or persons that you are calling
