PaulK_CMF
http://www.depicus.com/wake-on-lan/wake-on-lan-gui.asp any good to you? If I remember you need a lead connected between the WOL port on the NIC and the relevant pins on your mobo.
John Veteran Posted September 7, 2003 Veteran Share Posted September 7, 2003 yes, you need a cable from your NIC to your motherboard, but i'm not sure how to actually "wake" the computer  google is your friend :D
Bizkit
The Wake-On-LAN will send the signal to your mobo, and turn it on. Just make sure you have it set correctly in the BIOS, and you should be fine. Now a little story. I had a phone line connected when I was on dial-up, and everytime the phone would ring, my computer would start up. Took me like 3 weeks to figure out what was up. I felt stupid.
