Al Mehairi
Hey .. its only a chatroom, its not like I will be checking porno. Im not a he, Im a She .. (Im using my friends account) Why are you so harsh on yourself, if I chat from work, it doesnt mean I dont get anything done. I meet all my deadlines, my supervisors are so happy with me, I even got a permanent contract, I never disappointed them, I am always full of new ideas, and I actually implement them ..but in the end I am only NINETEEEEEN!! ok ? And it is hard for me to work among people 3 times my age, who are doctors and professors. Anyway thanks for everything .. and lol sorry Evizu I didnt get your joke at first, LOL ! talk about computer illiteracy huh ..you would be suprised to know that my job title is IT specialist .. however I do more Web design, programming and data analysis, than I do networking .. I am branching into that direction though ..
Frank
Why are you so harsh on yourselfHarsh on myself? How am I being harsh on myself? if I chat from work, it doesnt mean I dont get anything done. I meet all my deadlines, my supervisors are so happy with me, I even got a permanent contract, I never disappointed them, I am always full of new ideas, and I actually implement them .. Getting things done at work does not mean you met you are doing what should be done. Let?s say if you chatted on the net for one hour a day. That doesn?t seem like much, but that is an hour that you could have been doing something that they might end up hiring someone else to do. but in the end I am only NINETEEEEEN!! ok ? Age has nothing to do with it, it is just an excuse. That is why when some companies are hiring and see someone is younger; they won?t give them a chance because a lot of people have the "I?m only this age, I cant do all of that" attitude. I just turned 22 and I am where I am at today because I didn?t take that excuse. I was in a management position at an major airline when I was nineteen, and it was because I didn?t take the "I?m only this age" excuse.

John Veteran Posted September 9, 2003 Veteran Share Posted September 9, 2003 Fowen .. not everybody is like you , ok ?"I am only this age" is not an excuse. I have achieved so much in so little time. One hour of chat wont destroy my life. If you think it would destroy yours, then I tell you again, not everyone is like you .. God all I wanted was TECHNICAL help .. thanks people. of course it won't destroy your life. but if you spend an hour chatting every day at work, that's 5 hours each weak, and ~250 hours per year. and yes, it's true that you don't have to work on your breaks, but i know some people that do, and they get promoted.
