Windows 7 and Acronis True Image 2011

Question

HI,

I just had to do a clean install of Windows 7 because I was having ALL kinds of problems and then my wife revealed to me that she did an upgrade. SO I followed Paul Thurrott's instruction on installing clean with an upgrade disc. It worked perfectly. The question is about Acronic True Image Home 2011. First it is running 2 modules of the same name, TrueImageMonitor, now I unserstand why it needs one but the second is for the "online" backup feature which I have no intention of using. Also there is a anew service for the Non-Stop backup option, which aagaain I have no intention of using. What can I disable? OR should I just leave it as is and be happy that it is happy? I love the way it integrates with Windows 7 and takes over for Windows backup. I trust Acronis 100%.

Thanks for any help.

Joe

Using True Image Home 2010 here and i did note (i think) that if you stopped the non-stop back up service then the Try and Decide feature wasn`t available (you got some error code). Personally i would just leave all the Acronis services running. They don`t take much in the way of resource usage.

Be sure to create a rescue cd if you haven`t allready...

Good luck

p.s. I have four processes running:

TrueImageMonitor.exe*32

Schedul2.exe

Schedhlp.exe*32

afcdpsrv.exe*32

Yeah me too. I will just leave it alone. At least it is doing what I want it to do.
