DocM Posted May 13, 2011 Share Posted May 13, 2011 In a very recent talk at TED Dr. Anthony Atala of Wake Forest's regenerative medicine dept. updates us on their progress in creating bio-engineered organs. These would be made on demand using the persons own cells, so transplant rejection would not be a factor.
