Rainmeter vs. Windows Vista Sidebar

Question

I don't use either of these programs, but I am curious on which one will use less memory with each running 10 gadgets that has the same features. I don't want any search result information from search engines, such as Google, instead I want answers from Neowinians that has experience with both Rainmeter and Windows Vista Sidebar.

...and no, I'm not accepting answers that says or something similar to "I don't recommend using them" and "I don't like eye candy".

**EDIT**

Basic gadgets, such as weather.

This is what I have running. A combination of the Omnimo WP7 skin, and Rainify.

And this is how much resources it takes. Basically, you should be more worried about CPU usage. I'm on a (quad core) Q8200 @ 2.33 GHz for scaling.

In terms of options, Rainmeter beats the crap out of anything else. In terms of usability as something you not only just look at, since this is your mom we're talking about, I would recommend Sidebar. Although it DOES use a bit more RAM iirc, it is certainly more functional.

My mother finds the sidebar + sticky notes easily usable.
