Those who use Boxee BOX or Hulu Plus at home

Right now I have a 360, and a WDTV Live. I am thinking of getting either hulu plus for 360, or buying a boxee box to make it easier to stream music / video from my pc, and listen to music on my tv/stereo.

I know the WDTV Live is slow, and seems support and updates lack. So when I use netflix, I use it through the 360. But thinking the Boxee Box may be superior.

Guess no one owns a Boxee on this forum. Odd.....

Boxee does not play Hulu, so keep that in mind.

The Boxee Box DOES play Hulu Plus. I've been researching getting one to replace my crappy WD TVLive.

I would personally go with the Boxee since you can get a ton of free content from Fox, CBS, etc on it.

Wish boxee worked in the UK.. well had more content anyways. Im happy with my HDTV at the moment seems to be an all-rounder. Only thing is its louder and bigger..

Yes Boxee does have Hulu. They have Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, and more apps for you to choose from so your favorite apps will be placed on your apps list.

I have Boxee software on my PC but I do not have Boxee box yet. Thinking of getting one someday.

I have a Hulu Plus sub. I use it at home with Playon Media Server software and my PS3. I found the actual Hulu app slow, not sure if it's the same on the 360 or not. I really like the Playon Media Server though, it can do quite a bit.

once you add the 3rd party apps there is so much content (even in the UK)

Why not just get an AppleTV and jailbreak it?

It only supports 720P, and that is a big turn off for most home theater enthusiasts.
