mAcOdIn Veteran Posted September 11, 2003 Veteran Share Posted September 11, 2003 But do you think that's how G.R. intended the Klingons to be? I think that whole DS9 think was just them fudging it up even more. It's just a big cluster **** and to be honest I think the holy grail of the trek timeline died of with Gene and everything you see in any show after his death is speculative at best, and it'd be silly to say DS9 is right while Enterprise is wrong. unimatrixzer0
My brother mentioned it and I think he has a point. Doesn't this sorta remind you of the star wars plot? The alien dudes around the table talking about a secret weapon or whatever. Then theres the blown up planet. Wonder where they're hiding their death star? aem4162
Yes, Enterprise, Enterprise B (I think) and Enterprise D. Enterprise NX-01 Enterprise NCC-1701 - TOS - Constitution Class Enterprise NCC-1701C (TNG - Yesterday's Enterprise) - Ambassador Class Enterprise NCC-1701D - TNG - Galaxy Class The B (Excelsior Class) and E (Sovereign Class) haven't appeared on any of the tv series... There's even a bug dude that speaks bug language!! That really reminded me of Star Wars EP2 when the bug species spoke about building the "secret" weapon. Man...and why is T'Pol now changing the color of her clothes all the time. One time it's blue, then it's red. When did she become so "human"? +primortal Subscriber² Posted September 11, 2003 Subscriber² Share Posted September 11, 2003 (edited) Did TOS or TNG ever encounter the Xindi? OR is Enterprise the first time the Xindi were invented up? You cannot tie the TOS with Enterprise anymore (side note, did you noticed that they are now calling it 'Star Trek Enterprise?, last season it was only 'Enterprise'). the idea of using people from the future to influence Arched is a good way of not keeping thing lined up with the timeline that was put in place with TOS and TNG. I see it this way Picard screwed with the timeline when he shot down the borg sphear in first contact, so 'Q-Who' most likely has been erased and now Archer got their first taste of the borg. We might see more of them or traces of them (planet being purged of life). The Xindi have shown up now is cause someone in the future gave the xindi a heads up that they will be destroy by earthlings, so they decide to get rid of earth before the earthlings get rid of them. unimatrixzer0
I don't think the federation has the spherical objects below the waist to be capable of wiping out the Xindi in the future. Me thinks another enemy from the future is setting them up.

Fred Derf Veteran Posted September 11, 2003 Veteran Share Posted September 11, 2003 i think the xindi were invented for "enterprise"....funny how they mysteriously disappeared by the time the original series took place I guess that tells you who won then. The next line should be read in a Dr.Who Dialects-esqe voice. "EX-TER-MIN-ATE"

kev64
No, actually the first Federation-Romulan war began in 2137 and the first Federation-Klingon war began in 2221. Currently it's about 2200 in Enterprise. Thats not right. I have a timeline somewhere, I'll try and find it. It's time for some facts. ;) Edit - You are right  . Enterprise has really stuff up the timeline. :( Edited September 11, 2003 by kev64

Viserov
I thought I was playing Quake 3 or Red Faction during the scene where the MACO (the military people on Ent) pulls out his gun and uses the scope to kill the attacking alien. That MACO woman did kick some ass, though, while she was on the planet trying to rescue Archer. What bothers me is that the MACOs are too quick to kill, breaking necks and all.
