Washington DC - 41 Washington DC workers have been fired or suspended after they accessed thousands of porn sites on city computers. Nine employees were fired while the other 32 were suspended. Both male and female employees were disciplined after the month-long investigation.
The city's Office of the Chief Technology Officer says the nine fired employees access pornographic websites 20,000 times in 2007 or about 100 times per day over the course of the 200 work day per year schedule. The suspended employees visited pornographic sites 2000 times in the same year.
