ActiveLaunch 2.4

A shortcut is cool but you have to remember a lot of alt/ctrl/win key combinations and their corresponding programs. Also you should be sure your hotkey combination will not clash with the key commands of the active application. ActiveLaunch gives you the ability to open frequently used applications and documents from the keyboard, without having to memorize a multitude of hotkeys. Just call up the main ActiveLaunch window by pressing only one hotkey, and then press the keyboard shortcut associated with that program without resorting to keyboard modifiers.

Keyboard shortcuts are listed next to each icon; therefore, you do not need to memorize them. However, after several hours of work they will sit there automatically without any effort on your part whatsoever, and your hands will launch the desired program right at the moment you think of it.

Different sections can be created as subfolders. You may use sections as regular folders to divide your icons into categories. Besides, sections may be used to run a group of programs, documents, and folders. And indeed, instead of pressing the keyboard shortcut you may click the corresponding icon as well.

New in this version:

This version allows to copy/move an icon from one section to another.
