Activision sales are surging from GH3 and CoD4

Activision, which is awaiting approval of its merger with the games unit of French media giant Vivendi, is continuing to benefit from sales of Guitar Hero 3 and Call of Duty 4. They announced revenues of US$350 million for the 4th quarter which was about 25% higher than analysts expected.

Activision is currently working to complete "Kung Fu Panda" for Dreamworks and a new James Bond title for Sony that will also be tied to an upcoming movie.
