All Time Top 20 Best Selling Games

Thanks to ownt.com for this "Quick Take" taken from the GameState magazine. They give the number of users who are subscribed to seven big massive multiplayer online games, with Linage at the top (2.5 million users) followed by Everquest with 400,000. GameState reveals further that "Star Wars Galaxies" is looking to whip out the competition. "Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided" is already pushing 400,000 pre-orders.

Ownt.com also lists the top 20 best selling games of all time, Nintendo dominates the list with their Mario titles for NES, SNES and N64. There were a few surprises (ed - for me at least) with "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" for PSX coming in at number 10 at 8 million units. The Sims is currently the best selling game for PC at 10 million units.
